Last updated: 2026/11/01
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data STOADA ANAGET COMPANY LIMITED (“Anaget”, “we”, “us”), NO.1815, SHIN SAW PU 21 ST, SHIN SAW PU WARD, BAGO TS, BAGO REGION, MYANMAR, collects when you use the Anaget app for iOS and Android, the website anaget.com and its pages, and our emails (together, the “Service”), why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal data, we do not show ads, and we do not use third-party analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
1. What we collect and why
| Data | Why we use it | How long we keep it |
|---|---|---|
| Account: your email address, your user code, an internal account ID, the app language and Japanese level you choose | Signing in with one-time codes, your account, emails, support | Until you delete your account |
| Device ID: a random ID that the app creates (not your phone’s hardware ID or name) | The one-phone rule, guest use, stopping abuse, error reports | Until you delete your account. Guests: 90 days after last use. In error reports: 90 days. A device blocked for abuse stays blocked until we remove the block. |
| Learning data: saved items, progress, quiz results | Keeping your learning in step across sign-ins | Until you delete your account (a removed save: 90 days) |
| Connection records: IP address, approximate location (country, city, network) worked out from the IP address with a database on our own server, your phone’s time zone, platform, app version, interface language, device ID, connection time and length | Support, security, understanding how the Service is used | Until you delete your account. Guests: 90 days after last use. |
| Account events: sign-up, sign-in, new phone, payment, subscription, referral, stopping news emails, changes made by our support staff | Support and security | Until you delete your account |
| In-app activity: episodes started and finished, lines played, saves, share destination, quizzes, player settings, the screen or link you came from, what you searched for and how many results it found | Improving the app and our content | 90 days |
| Search statistics: words searched by 5 or more people, with no account or device ID | Ideas for new content | Kept, but they contain no personal data |
| Error reports: the error message and technical details — operating system, phone model and maker, phone or tablet, WebView version, screen size, memory, network type, whether it is an emulator, enabled features, app version, screen, language, user agent, device ID, and your account ID if you are signed in. Email addresses and sign-in tokens are removed before an error report is saved. | Finding and fixing bugs | 90 days |
| Purchases: orders (plan, payment method, amount, currency, promotion, referral or partner code, the link source), payments, subscription period, and the link between your account and an App Store or Google Play purchase | Giving you what you paid for, accounting and tax, preventing fraud | Kept after you delete your account, for accounting and legal reasons. They are then linked only to an internal account ID, not to your email. |

| Email preferences and records: when you agreed to or stopped news emails, and the emails we sent you (type, date, delivery result) | Sending the emails you agreed to, not sending duplicates | Until you delete your account |
| Sign-in: a scrambled (hashed) form of your sign-in token, and one-time codes | Keeping you signed in, signing you in | Sign-in tokens: up to 180 days. One-time codes: 10 minutes. |
| Server logs: one line for each request, with the IP address, the page or file requested and, for some account actions, your email address or account ID (never passwords, codes, tokens or cookies) | Security and troubleshooting | 90 days |
| Support: emails you send to support@anaget.com, our notes about your account, and records of privacy requests | Helping you, showing that we handled a request | Notes: until you delete your account. Privacy request records are kept, but your email and account are removed from them when you delete your account. Support emails: as long as we need them to answer you. |
If you use the app as a guest (without an account), your saves and progress stay only on your phone. When you sign up or sign in, the guest connection records from that phone move into your account.
We do not collect your phone’s name, hardware IDs, advertising IDs, contacts, photos or precise GPS location, and we do not send you SMS or push notifications from our servers.
2. How we use your data
- To provide the Service: signing in, playing and downloading episodes, keeping your learning in step, and your subscription.
- For the one-phone rule: an account works on one phone at a time. Signing in on a new phone signs out the old one and deletes its downloads.
- For payments and subscriptions, including referral bonus days.
- To send emails. Account emails (sign-in codes, account deletion, purchase and expiry notices) are always sent. News emails (new series, reminders and offers) are sent only if you agreed when you signed up, and you can stop them at any time with the unsubscribe link in every news email; account emails continue.
- To give support and answer privacy requests.
- For security and to stop abuse: for example, the app shows your user code as a faint watermark on the screen so that leaked copies can be traced, and we can block a device that is misused.
- To improve the app and our content, using our own records only — no third-party analytics.
- To keep accounting records and follow the law.
We do not use your personal data to train artificial intelligence or to make our content; only the anonymous search statistics above help us choose new topics.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising. We use these service providers, who handle data only to run the Service for us:
| Service provider | What for | What they receive | Where |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cloud hosting provider | Our servers, database and backups | All the data described in this policy | Singapore |
| Content delivery provider | Delivering episode files and pictures | Your IP address and the files you request | Singapore |
| Email delivery provider | Sending our emails | Your email address and the email content | Singapore |
| Apple and Google | App distribution and in-app purchases | Your purchase, linked to an internal account ID | Their own systems, under their own privacy policies |
| Payment provider | Other payments | The order number and amount. You enter your payment details on the provider’s page; we do not receive your wallet or bank sign-in details. | Myanmar |
| Support email provider | Our support mailbox | Emails you send to support@anaget.com | United States |
| Our accountant | Accounting and tax | Payment records identified by user code only — no email, name or IP address | — |
If you sign up with a partner’s code, the partner sees only totals (for example, how many people signed up or bought), never your email or name. We may also disclose data when the law requires it, to protect the safety of people or the Service, or to a company that takes over the Service, which would have to keep this policy’s promises.
4. Where your data is stored
Our servers and database are in Singapore. Encrypted copies of the database (kept up to 30 days) and our server logs (kept 90 days) are also stored on our backup servers. Other payments go through a payment provider in Myanmar, in-app purchases through Apple and Google, and emails you send to our support address are stored by our support email provider in the United States. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from the laws where you live; we protect your data in the same way wherever it is stored, as described in this policy.
The approximate location from your IP address is looked up in a database file on our own server; your IP address is not sent to anyone for this.
5. How long we keep it
The table in section 1 shows how long we keep each kind of data. When you delete your account, we delete your account, learning data, in-app activity, connection records, account events, sign-in tokens, error reports linked to you, email records and support notes. We keep purchase records for accounting and records of actions our staff took on your account, linked only to an internal account ID, and server logs until they expire (90 days). Deleted data can remain in our backups for up to 30 days before those backups are deleted. Guest data is deleted 90 days after the device was last used.
6. Your choices and rights
- Get a copy of your data: we send a file with your account, learning data, account events, connection records, emails and payments.
- Correct data that is wrong.
- Delete your account: in the app (Account › Delete account), at anaget.com/delete-account, or by emailing us.
- Stop news emails: use the unsubscribe link in any news email, or email us.
- Ask us to stop or limit a use of your data, or object to it.
To ask for a copy or a correction, or for anything else about your data, email support@anaget.com from the email address of your account and include your user code. We answer within 7 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity, for example with a sign-in code. Guest data is linked only to a random device ID and is deleted automatically 90 days after the app was last used. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can also contact the data protection authority where you live.
7. Children
The Service is not for children under 13. Users under the age of majority need the permission of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security
- All connections to the Service are encrypted (HTTPS / TLS).
- Our database is reachable only from our own servers on a private network, behind firewalls.
- Only a small number of staff can see personal data. They sign in with a code and an authenticator app; email addresses and IP addresses are hidden from staff who do not need them, and every download or deletion is recorded.
- Sign-in tokens and codes are stored only in scrambled (hashed) form, and the database backups we make are encrypted.
- The app keeps your sign-in file out of phone backups, protects the screen from capture, and contains no third-party analytics or advertising code.
No system is completely secure. If a breach puts your data at risk, we will tell you and the authorities where the law requires it.
9. Cookies and browser storage
Our public website does not use cookies for advertising, analytics or tracking. It may keep small settings in your browser, such as your language choice and the link you arrived from (to see which channels work). The payment provider’s page may use its own cookies.
10. Laws we follow
We handle personal data under the laws that apply to us, including the laws of Myanmar. Where they apply to you, we also follow Japan’s Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI) and Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), and you have the rights those laws give you.
We use your data because it is needed to provide the Service you asked for (your account, learning data and purchases), for our legitimate interests in keeping the Service secure, stopping abuse and improving it, with your consent (news emails), and to meet legal duties such as accounting. The transfers to other countries described in section 4 are needed to provide the Service, and our service providers handle the data only for us, under their own data protection commitments.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will announce important changes in the app and on our website at least 14 days before they take effect, unless a change is required by law sooner. The date at the top shows the latest version.
12. Language
This policy is written in English, and a Burmese translation is provided for convenience. If the two versions differ, the English version applies.
